  • A commitment to one of our monthly plans automatically assigns your company or non-profit to one of our professional writers. 

  • Your Writing Bisto professional will serve as your point of contact throughout your experience with Writing Bistro. 

  • All writing will be marked as final copy with your approval and after the completion of one editing round for the basic writing package and add ons; two editing rounds with premium packages.

  • We use industry-accepted standards of documents and formats.  Typically, a "page" is defined as 8.5 x 11 with one inch margins and a font size of 11 - 12 points.  Press releases must meet media formatting requirements which, among other things, include double spacing, a contact heading and 12 point font.

  • Typically custom jobs will require two rounds of editing, however additional editing is available for custom jobs only.  Editing between you and your Writing Bistro professional will take place electronically through email, unless otherwise noted. 

  • Content is developed via telephone conference call between you (and/or staff designated by you) and your Writing Bistro professional one time per month with a basic writing package and at the time of the purchase on add on. 

  • Premium and Custom package content development is completed via telephone up to twice per month and as needed. 

  • Writing Bistro may choose to publish copies, on our website and in marketing materials, of the writing work we complete for our clients.  An agreement to hire the Writing Bistro for writing services also serves as a commitment to allow us to publish copies of the work on our website and in marketing materials, unless otherwise noted in writing via email or mail. 

  • Writing Bistro does not offer printing or mail house services.  However, we do provide print and mail house ready writing materials and we will electronically deliver those materials to your printing service or mail house free of charge.

  • Writing Bistro does not provide email distribution services but can, during the first month of service and in lieu of a writing project that month, set up an email account for you, including template design within a standardized format.  We will offer advice on database imports and management, but these aspects are the responsibility of your company or organization.  The email program is an additional expense and your responsibility.

  • Writing Bistro is a division of Seeds for Change Consulting, LLC. Seeds for Change Consulting is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and upholds AFP’s ethical policies including an agreement to refrain from the practice of business to business referrals.

  • Financial penalties for early contract termination do exist and are explained on the contract form.  You agree to pay any and all termination fees.

  • By paying the intial set-up fee payment, you directly agree to abide by the terms and conditions described above and accept full responsibility for all final content, mutually determined deadlines and deliverables.
